What's SSO ?

SSO (Social Science Olympiads) is the most prestigious event of Executive Student Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences which have been held since 2001

Social Olympiads was originally an Olympic for Senior High students in Depok. Having the event succeed, then SSO started to broaden the scope into national scale, and SSO has even embraced the Southeast Asia region in 2011. Unlike the Olympics in general, SSO is more comprehensive competition by holding a variety of competition categories and presented in an attractive format.

The actualization of this event came from the tremendous dream of Student Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Indonesia in order to give tangible contribution for Indonesia by cultivating the spirit of competition in social aspect for senior high students and also to introduce Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Indonesia as the prominent learning center of social science study in Indonesia as well as Southeast Asia. Thus, Science Department of Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Indonesia who has prime concern regarding the development of social science claims SSO as its own project which should be sustained in order to reaching the objective itself. Social Olympiads also proves the role of students of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Indonesia who care about education especially in sharpening the intellectuality of social science study.
